Transporters said restricted cargo movements against easy availability of trucks mainly led to fall in freight rates for select destinations.
Freight rates from Delhi to Mysore, Kochi and Coimbatore were down by Rs 1,000 each to Rs 69,000, Rs 74,000 and Rs 71,000.
Delhi to Jaipur, Chandigarh and Ludhiana freights remained lower by Rs 500 each to Rs 19,000, Rs 20,000 and Rs 21,000.
