The batch of 85 yatris comprising 42 men and 43 sadhus left in three vehicles from the Bhagwati Nagar base camp in Jammu for Pahalgam and Baltal in Kashmir this morning, a police officer said.
Yesterday, 307 yatris paid their obeisance at the cave shrine of Amarnath whereas 2,19,601 pilgrims have so far paid obeisance at the shrine since the yatra began on July 1.
Another batch of 459 pilgrims of Budha Amarnath consisting 402 men, 46 women and 11 children also left in 13 vehicles from the base camp for their onward journey in Poonch district, he said.
Both the yatras would conclude on August 18.
