According to MeT department, city received a rainfall of 3.6 mm till 5.30 pm while it was only 0.2 mm till 8.30 am.
An official of the department has predicted one or two spells of light rain or thundershowers in some parts of the national capital.
People, including children, were seen enjoying the rain this evening.
The minimum temperature was recorded at 16.6 degrees Celsius, which was two notches above normal while maximum was registered at 19.6 degrees, nine notches below normal.
The humidity in air oscillated between 70 and 98 per cent.
"The sky will be generally cloudy. One or two spells of light rain or thundershowers could occur in some areas of the city. The maximum and minimum temperatures are expected to hover around 21 degrees Celsius and 16 degrees Celsius respectively," the official said.
