Future-Mibelle JV to launch personal care products in 2016

Future Consumer Enterprise Ltd (FCEL), a part of Kishore Biyani-led Future Group, today said its 50:50 joint venture with Switzerland-based Mibelle AG, will launch personal care products in early 2016.
"FCEL has entered into a joint venture with Mibelle AG with an aim to design new product concepts and market new brands in the personal care category in the Indian market. These products will be launched in early 2016," the company said in a statement.
The products will be manufactured in Switzerland and at the local units.
Earlier this month, FCEL's Board of Directors approved to enter a 50:50 joint venture arrangement with Mibelle AG, (a division of Migros Group).

"The proposed joint venture entity is expected to undertake directly or indirectly the business to manufacture, market, distribute, export and deal into personal care products such as body wash, body lotion, hand wash, face wash, skin care creams and other FMCG products," it had said.
