G Karthikeyan Media Awards announced
Veteran journalist K G Parameswaran Nair, former bureau chief of Kerala Kaumudi daily, bagged the honour in the category of print media.
The awards, comprising a purse of Rs 50,000 each, citation and plaque, is instituted by the state assembly in memory of late speaker and Congress leader G Karthikeyan.
An expert panel, led by Justice (rtd) K R Udayabhanu, selected the winners.
The awards will be distributed next month, a government release said here.
