Ganganagar at max 41.7 degrees C hottest place in Raj today

Ganganagar was the hottest place in Rajasthan with a maximum temperature of 41.7 degrees Celsius followed by Churu which recorded 41.2 degrees Celsius.
The temperature in Kota was 40.8 degrees Celsius and 40.2 degrees Celsius each in Jaipur, Bikaner and Jaisalmer.
The highest temperature of 39.9 degrees Celsius was recorded in Barmer and Jodhpur, 39.4 in Ajmer, 39.2 in Pilani and 39 degrees Celsius in Dabok respectively.
The MeT department has predicted dust or thunderstorms at isolated places in the state in next 24 hours.
