Two of the drug smugglers, identified only as Rehman and Mohammed, hail from from Kerala, Inspector K M S V Prasad of Chintapalle Police Station said.
The duo was transporting the ganja in a car when they were intercepted by the police near here. Upon questioning they revealed the names of three suppliers, who were also apprehended, he said.
Police have registered a case under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act and launched a probe.
