Barlow, who is quitting his role on the panel of the ITV talent show after the current series, also wants Dannii Minogue and Cheryl Cole on the panel once more, reported Femalefirst.
"It would be amazing for them to come back. It's Simon's show and if he's on it, it will be brilliant - it definitely has a few more years to go," Barlow said.
The singer said he will miss his fellow judges Louis Walsh, Sharon Osbourne and Nicole Scherzinger when he leaves the show, but is determined to stay in touch with the trio.
"And I will really miss Nicole Scherzinger, she's such a great sport," he added.
