The meeting was held yesterday to discuss the allegation of financial irregularities and the future course of action on the FIR lodged by former treasurer Desai with the Economic Offences Wing (EOW) of the Goa police.
The group, led by Phaldesai and Desai, who were reportedly denied entry to attend the meeting, raised slogan against GCA President Chetan Dessai and other managing committee members and sought their resignation till their names are cleared by the investigating authorities.
Chetan Dessai told PTI that the meeting was adjourned.
"We never deny entry to any member. Due to lack of space, we had issued a public notice on June 4, requesting life members and clubs to register their names if they were interested in attending the meeting," he said.
