GE T&D India managing director resigns

GE T&D India today said its Managing Director Rathindra Nath Basu has resigned from the post and will take take a global role in GE Grid Solutions as Chief Commercial Officer.
Rathindra Nath Basu has resigned as "Managing Director of the company with effect from end of business hours on February 28, 2017", GE T&D India said in a BSE filing today.
The company, formerly known as Alstom T&D India, said, "Effective March 1, 2017, he will take a global role in GE Grid Solutions as Chief Commercial Officer reporting to President and CEO Reinaldo Garcia."
According to the statement, the Board of Directors of the company at its meeting held on February 23, 2017 has accepted his resignation. He will remain on the Board to ensure smooth transition to his successor, who will be announced in a few weeks.
