Senior Congress leader Ashok Gehlot today demanded that Rajasthan Chief Minister CM Vasundhara Raje issue a white paper mentioning the promises fulfilled by her made in the election manifesto.
"The Chief Minsiter has claimed that 73 per cent of the promises made in the election manifesto have been fulfilled but the government should issue a white paper disclosing which of them have been fulfilled and who have benefited from them," Ashok Gehlot, a former Chief Minister said.
"The CM is expert in telling lies. When a lie is spoken 100 times it gives the illusion of being true and this is what she is doing," he said.
He also said the public gave huge mandate but the government is not doing anything and all the public welfare works are in a standstill mode.
On Prime Minister's comments on BJP MP Subramanian Swamy, he said the differences in the party have started coming to fore.
"We will not have to speak, they will themselves give replies to each other," he said.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi had yesterday disapproved of party MP Subramanian Swamy's attacks on RBI Governor Raghuram Rajan and some top finance ministry officials saying they are "inappropriate".
Gehlot, who was in Jodhpur recently, also demanded that the government should make alternate arrangements for mines labourers. He also met the labourers working in the mines.
"The government should make alternate arrangements for the labourers," he said.
