Senior Superintendent of Police Dharmendra Singh will attend a seminar to represent India in Djibouti (a country in African continent), to be convened from 16th to 18th March, DSP Ranvijay Singh said.
He said that the seminar will be organized at United Nations office on drugs and crime (UNODC), the only entity of UN focusing on criminal justice and combating human trafficking and smuggling of migrants.
The SSP will share his experiences with police chiefs of various nations, he said.
The central home ministry had asked all the state governments to replicate 'Operation Smile' in their respective areas.
The operation initiated by the Union Ministry of Home Affairs to trace missing children was relaunched at the start of the year.
