Gillette India Q4 net profit up marginally at Rs 16.76 cr

FMCG major Gillette India today posted marginal increase in its net profit at Rs 16.76 crore for the fourth quarter ended June 30.
The company had posted a net profit of Rs 16.47 crore for the same period of previous fiscal.
Net sales of the company rose to Rs 476.67 crore for the fourth quarter, as compared to Rs 392.07 crore in the same period of previous fiscal, Gillette India Ltd said in a filing to the BSE.
The company follows July-June financial year.
For the year ended June 30, the company posted a net profit of Rs 51.42 crore, as compared to Rs 87.16 crore during the previous financial year.
Net sales rose to Rs 1,745.62 crore for the year ended June 30, as compared to Rs 1,435.33 crore during the previous fiscal.
Gillette India shares today closed at Rs 2,363.55 apiece on the BSE, up 1.16 per cent from the previous close.
