According to Sihani Gate SHO Ashok Shishodia, the girl said in her complaint that the accused, identified as one Chandra Prakash, has had sexual relations with her since 2013 after promising to marry her.
However, when she yesterday asked him to keep his word and tie the knot with her, the accused allegedly thrashed and threatened her, police said.
Upon her complaint, a case in the matter has been registered under Sec 376 of IPC, police said.
