Umesh Kumar Singh (24) was bringing back his cousin Sonam, who had gone to give BA exams, when his motorcycle was hit by the bus in Alapur area, said Superintendent of Police (City) Anil Kumar Yadav.
Both of them died on the spot, the officer said.
Agitated over the accident, locals blocked road traffic and held protest.
