Girl elopes with lover in UP

A 19-year-old girl allegedly eloped with her lover, belonging to a different community, in Shamli here, police said today.
The girl, who was supposed to get married on January 24, eloped with the boy yesterday, DSP Nishank Sharma told reporters here.
Her parents have lodged a case of abduction against the boy, he said adding that efforts are on to search the couple.
