Girl injured after being accidentally shot by father

A 14-year-old girl was severely injured allegedly in an accidental fire by her gunman father in the district, police said here today.
Verendra Singh, gunman of sitting BJP MLA, accidentally fired from his service rifle at home this morning and the bullet penetrated his daughter Niherika's stomach, Borkedha SHO Ram Kalayan said.
"She is critically injured and undergoing operation at a private hospital," the SHO added.
No case has yet been registered, however investigation into the matter is on, he said.
Singh is the gunman of sitting BJP MLA from Ladpura area and former parliamentary secretary Bhawani Singh Rajawat.
