The writer-director reached out to fans of the show via Twitter and alerted them to the fact he had called the stars from the first season of the series back to the fictional McKinley High, reported Radar online.
"All the 'Glee' originals received invites today to be in our 100th episode! More to follow," Murphy posted on Twitter.
That means 'Dancing With the Stars' winner Amber Riley, Mark Salling, Dianna Agron, Harry Shum Jr and new mother Heather Morris could all be back for the special show, which is set to air in March.
