GTA Executive Chief, Bimal Gurung is working towards employing the GLP personnel permanently on the basis of their qualification and ability, Aaley said.
"We need to provide employment to the 2000 GLPs who are stationed at 11 camps. We cannot forget their selfless service during the agitation," Aaley said.
Aaley, who is also the head of the Sports Department, said that the GTA will be concentrating on the development of sports in the hills and the GTA is planning to form a Sports Council soon.
