A Greater Noida Authority (GNA) demolition team, led by its Additional Chief Executive Officer Manvinder Singh and forces from state police and Provincial Armed Constabulary (PAC) freed the land in Sector 3 of the village which was encroached upon by land mafias, he said.
The Authority had acquired the land in 2007, and floated a scheme in 2008 to allot plot of land.
A total of 3,000 plots of 120 and 200 square metres were allotted to various persons, who were to be given possession by 2013.
