Nine persons were Tuesday arrested in Goa's Calangute beach area for allegedly drinking in public and creating nuisance, police said.
Calangute Police Inspector Jivba Dalvi said the arrests were made from the footpath, beach and adjoining pay and park area.
He said 35 persons were arrested in 2018 for drinking alcohol and creating nuisance in public by Calangute police.
