"We extend our hands to all people of goodwill, to work to avert the absurd bloodshed, the barbarity of terror acts and to cooperate to build a fraternal society, respecting the dignity of every human," Archbishop of Goa and Daman Fr Filipe Neri Ferrao said in the message released on the eve of Easter.
"On this occasion of Easter, the Archbishop of Goa and Daman, together with the faithful in the Archdiocese under his jurisdiction, joins the chorus of victory and joy resounding the world over: "Alleluia! The Lord is truly risen!," the message further said.
"Alleluia is a song of trust and confidence, inspite of age-old practices of slavery, various forms of trafficking, violence on the vulnerable people in our homes, in our neighbourhoods, in our nation and in the world at large," he added.
