During the course of discussion held with Chief Minister, Bhakti said, "When I looked at the players' list I had this feeling that I can win, I prepared by participating in two tournaments in Nashik and Mumbai and went to Uzbekistan, thinking not about the result but playing good chess."
Parsekar assured her all help and wished her good luck for the Women's World Championship which will be held shortly.
Earlier, the Asian champion was accorded a warm welcome at the airport, when she arrived yesterday, by All India Chess Federation, her parents, the local chess associations and her fans.
