Godrej group enters kitchen-fitting segment

Godrej Locking Solutions and Systems (LOCKSS), the 118-year-old founding business of the Godrej group, today announced its foray into the fast-growing kitchen fitting segment in India.
Godrej aims to cater to the growing need of the urban middle-class for products that are strong, durable and aesthetically superior, the company said in a statement.

Infosys' development centre celebrates 20th anniversary * IT major Infosys said its development centre in Mangaluru, the company's first DC to be built outside Bengaluru, today celebrated its 20th anniversary.
From its humble beginning with 25 employees in 1995, the DC has grown over the last two decades. Today, the 347-acre campus is home to over 3,900 employees and a LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certified Software Development Block, the company said in a release.

Xiaomi to maintain single price strategy * Chinese handset maker Xiaomi, which aims to strengthen its offline presence in order to penetrate deeper into the market, will continue with the single price mechanism across offline and online channels.
"We will continue with single pricing for offline and online channels. The price of a model offline will remain the same as online," Xiaomi India Head Manu Jain said here today.

Stayzilla launches new mobile application * Travel-related online service provider Stayzilla today said it is strengthening its focus on the alternative stay segment with the launch of a new mobile application and a brand campaign that is specifically targeted at hosts.
This initiative has been rolled out with the aim of catering to the "acute" undersupply of rooms in the country as well as widening the quality of stay choices for travellers in India, company officials said.
