Gold prices rallied by Rs 128 to Rs 27,227 per 10 grams in futures trading today amid a firming trend overseas.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, gold for delivery in October rose by Rs 128, or 0.47 per cent, to Rs 27,227 per 10 grams in a business turnover of 170 lots.
Similarly, the yellow metal for delivery in August traded higher by Rs 96, or 0.36 per cent, to Rs 26,964 per 10 grams in 5,493 lots.
