Customs officials had intercepted seven passengers after their arrivals here.
Of these, four come from Dubai and two from Bangkok today. Another passenger had arrived here yesterday from Dubai.

The seven passengers were collectively carrying gold bars and jewellery weighing 4.319 kgs was recovered from them, a Customs official said adding the value of the gold is about Rs 1.10 crore, he said.
Of these seven persons, one was arrested by Customs officials for carrying gold jewellery worth more than Rs 30 lakh, the official said.
Other six accused were being interrogated by customs officials.
