Gold worth Rs 15.60 lakh seized, one arrested

About 600 grams of gold worth Rs 15.60 lakh was today seized from a passenger who arrived at Karipur International airport here from Dubai, Air Customs Officials said.
The gold, moulded in the form of a perfume bottle and concealed inside the baggage of Ashraf (32), was seized during a routine check.
He had arrived here at around 2.40 PM by an Air India Express flight, they said.
