Gold worth Rs 5 lakh seized, 2 detained

Security personnel at the NSC Bose International Airport on Sunday seized 175 gm of gold worth Rs five lakh and detained two persons in this connection.

A passenger on arrival here from Bangkok was trying to hand over the gold to a visitor, when both of them were caught red-handed by security persons, airport sources said.

Both of them have been detained for interrogation, the sources said.
