Gold worth Rs 63 lakh seized from passenger

About 2.565 kg of gold worth Rs 63 lakh was today seized from a passenger who arrived at nearby Karipur international airport by an Air India Express flight from Doha, Air Customs Intelligence sources said.
The passenger belonged to Kozhikode, they said.
On October 30, about 998 gram of gold worth Rs 24.83 lakh was seized from a passenger who arrived by an Air India Express flight from Doha.
