Gold worth Rs two cr seized from passengers

About seven kgs of gold valued at about Rs two crore was seized from two passengers, who arrived at the Karipur airport near here from Bahrain by the DRI officials.
According to DRI officials, the passengers, who cameby an Oman Airways flight via Muscat which landedaround 4.30 am, were intercepted following special intelligence inputs.
They seized 3.7 kgs of gold, brought in as machine parts, from the baggageof Muhammed Koya.
About 3.29 kgs of gold, hidden in an iron box, was seized from the baggage Abdul Rahim.
