Gomez 'lost sight' of self before rehab

Singer-actress Selena Gomez "lost sight" of who she was before she checked into rehab in January.
The 21-year-old 'Come and Get it' hitmaker said she gave in to pressure of what people told her about how to behave and what to wear in the industry, reported Contactmusic.
"Until recently I had given into that pressure, I lost sight of who I was. I listened to opinions of people and I tried to change who I am because I thought others would accept me for it. And I realised I don't know how to be anything but myself," she said.
Gomez, who has been on a relationship with pop sensation Justin Bieber, said it "crushes you" when people say you are not good enough.

"I'm sure all of you have been told that you don't have what it takes and that you may not be good enough... When deep down, it's all you want to do, you want to be part of something great, you want to make something great. It crushes you when people try to tell you that you're not good enough," she said.
