Manoj Bajpai is a busy man these days. After the success of 'Gangs of Wasseypur' and 'Special 26', he is coming up with two films this year and the actor believes it is a good time for people like him in the industry.
The 43-year-old's 'Shootout At Wadala' is ready to hit the screens while Prakash Jha's 'Satyagraha' is currently being shot.
"When I got recognition with 'Satya', I used to do one film a year. There were not many new ideas and new directors. I kept fighting my battle in a world of commercialism and formula film. It was a long battle but things are changing now. Many great actors are getting good work now," Bajpai said on the sidelines of Times of India Film Awards, where he is nominated in the Best Actor Category.
The actor is not worried about winning or losing the award and believes such functions should be enjoyed.
"Award shows are a big celebration of the fraternity. It is a difficult task to choose a winner. Such functions should be enjoyed."
On being a method actor, Bajpai said, "I believe in becoming the character. It is easy to get in a character but difficult to come out. This is why actors are lonely and moody because you are getting into so many skins that you lose your personality," he said.
