The President's Police Medal for Meritorious Service were presented to Ramrao Narayanrao Wagh (Retired), Additional Director General of Police and Sharada Prasad Yadav, Additional Director General of Police, CID, Pune.
Police medals for meritorious service were presented to 40 police officers and police personnel on the occasion.
Maharashtra Chief Minister Prithviraj Chavan, Home Minister R R Patil, Minister of State (Home) Satej Patil, Chief Secretary J S Saharia, Director General of Police Sanjeev Dayal, Commissioner of Mumbai Police Rakesh Maria and other senior serving as well as retired police officers and families of police personnel honoured at the investiture ceremony were present on the occasion.
