Governor visits RPO for renewal of passport

The Passport Seva Kendra (PSK) today had an unexpected applicant when Punjab Governor VP Singh Badnore visited for renewal of his passport.
"Although, by virtue of holding a constitutional post, he was not required to visit personally, but he said he wanted to see the facilities at the Passport Seva Kendra," a release by the Regional Passport Officer (RPO) said.
RPO, Chandigarh Rakesh Aggarwal explained the process of issuance of passports to the Governor and informed him that the passport office issued more than 2,000 passports on a daily basis, the release added.
The Governor also interacted with other passport applicants for their feedback.

Badnore, who is also Administrator of Chandigarh Union Territory, was accompanied by wife Alka Singh whose passport was also renewed, the release said.
