The annual governors' conference will be held at Rashtrapati Bhavan in Delhi on June 4 and 5, instead of Chandigarh which was supposed to host the event on May 19 and 20.
A communication from the Rashtrapati Bhavan was received by the Union Territory Secretariat here yesterday, informing about the change in venue for the conference.
The communication sent to UT Adviser Parimal Rai by Bharat Lal, Joint Secretary to the President, read, "Please refer to my letter dated March 22, 2018, indicating to hold the next Conference of Governors on May 19-20, 2018, at Chandigarh. Further, it was requested to arrange the logistics and infrastructure at Chandigarh for the above conference."
