The Minister was in Varanasi to attend a function of the Employees Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) held here today.
Praising the Modi government for launching various schemes which are directly linked to providing benefits to poor people, the Minister said the recently launched Jan Dhan Yojana is one of them and this pension scheme is another, which gurantees a minimum pension of Rs 1,000 per month.
There are even a large number of such schemes in pipeline for the betterment of poor people, entrepreneurs, industrialists, government and non-government employees, among others, he said, adding that the Prime Minister's vision is to provide job to every individual in the country.
