Kerala High Court today directed the government to produce by August 13 all files relating to sanctioning of plus two schools and additional batches in the state for this academic year.
The direction in this regard was issued by Justice P R Ramachandra Menon on a batch of about 50 petitions challenging the government order granting plus two courses in various schools and additional batches.
Court held that it had to examine whether plus two courses and the 476 additional batches were sanctioned in a fair and transparent manner.
The judge also expressed displeasure at the government for not producing the records today.
Muslim Education Society (MES) and others have approached the court stating that the plus two courses were not sanctioned based on the educational need and on the basis of recommendations of expert committee.
