"The Government has sent notices to the Rajya Sabha Secretariat on February 18, 2012 for consideration and passing of the Bill during the current Budget session of Parliament and also for moving official amendments in the Bill as reported by the select committee," Narayanasamy told the Upper House in a written reply.
The Lokpal and Lokayuktas Bill was passed by the Lok Sabha on December 27, 2011 and is pending in the Rajya Sabha.
The budget session of Parliament, which begin from February 21, has a month-long break from March 22 to April 22. The session is scheduled to end on May 10.
