Speaking after the signing of the MoUs, Labour Minister Bandaru Dattatreya said: "NCS will play a significant role in employment generation in the country. We are committed to expand the quality and reach of NCS and signing of these MoUs is a step in that direction."
The Minister said that a multilingual toll free helpline, 1800-425-1514, is also operational for job seekers.
Since its launch, the NCS has grown significantly with over 3.6 crore job seekers, 9 lakh employers and mobilising over 1 lakh jobs in the last few months, Dattatreya said.
