Following the approval of the State Administrative Council, the Revenue Department has issued orders for the payment of financial assistance, under Prime Minister's Development Plan 2015, to the owners of houses damaged due to floods of September 2014, official spokesman said.
The financial assistance sanctioned under Prime Minister's Development Plan 2015 will be over and above the relief/financial assistance already provided in favour of affected households in the past under State Disaster Response Fund (SDRF) and Prime Minister's National Relief Fund (PMNRF).
With the assistance being sanctioned now, it will be composite relief and financial assistance in respect of different categories of the damaged houses, he said.
