Davender Kumar was arrested yesterday for allegedly molesting the 19-year-old girl, police said today.
After coming to know about the incident and that Kumar had been allegedly harassing the girl for past some time, irate family members along with some villagers caught hold of the accused yesterday and were about to thrash him when police intervened and arrested the accused, they said.
On the complaint of the girl, a case of sexual harassment and criminal intimidation was registered against Kumar, police said, adding, he was today produced in a court at Mahendergarh, which remanded him to 14-day judicial custody.
