A TMC member in Lok Sabha on Thursday asked the government to remain vigilant at sea ports and airports on account of Ebola outbreak in Congo.
Raising the issue during the Zero Hour, Kakoli Ghosh (TMC) said that over 1,600 people have died because of this outbreak and the World Health Organisation (WHO) has declared the crisis as a public health emergency of international concern.
"Our government should should be vigilant at sea ports and air ports for people coming from Africa," she said.
Mahesh Sahoo (BJD) demanded establishment of Kalinga Regiment in the army in line with other similar regiments.
Satyapal Singh (BJP) asked for connecting Baghpat with metro rail.
Nihal Chand (BJP) asked the government to not stop red brick kilns in Rajasthan as a number of people are engaged in the activity.
