RSS-backed Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh today said the government has promised that it will implement soon the 'written assurance' given to central trade unions over their 12-point charter of demand.
"Nripendra Mishra, Principal Secretary to Prime Minister assured a delegation of BMS that the written assurance given on August 27 last year to Central Trade Unions by the Group of Ministers constituted by the Prime Minster will be implemented soon," BMS said in a release.
A BMS delegation consisting of BMS General Secretary Virjesh Upadhyay, former President Saji Narayanan and Zonal Organizing Secretary Pawan Kumar met him in his office and held a hour-long discussion on labour law reforms and various issues related to labour including beedi industry, sick and closed PSUs etc, the statement said.

He also assured that reforms will be moved only after taking into consideration Trade Union concerns, it said.
