Traders said besides muted demand from retailers, adequate stocks position on increased supplies from growing regions mainly attributed the fall in gram and arhar prices.
In the national capital, gram, gramdal local and best quality were down by Rs 100 each to Rs 4,050-4,175, Rs 4,200-4,600 and Rs 4,600-4,700 per quintal respectively.
Arhar and its dal dara variety also eased by Rs 50 and Rs 100 to Rs 4,300 and Rs 6,200-8,100 per quintal respectively.
Following are today's pulses' rates (in Rs per quintal): Urad Rs 3,950-5,250, Urad Chilka (local) Rs 4,900-5,000, Urad best Rs 5,000-5,500, Dhoya Rs 5,400-5,600, Moong Rs 4,600-5,300, Dal Moong Chilka local Rs 5,400-5,600, Moong Dhoya local Rs 6,000-6,500 and best quality Rs 6,500-6,700.
