Gram, its dal decline on increased arrivals

In restricted activity, chana prices fell by Rs 20 per quintal at the wholesale pulses market today largely on higher supplies from producing regions amid slackened demand.
Other pulses, however, continued to be enquired at the previous levels on scattered support.
Traders said the fall in chana prices was attributed to higher stocks in the market following increased arrivals from growing belts.
In the national capital, gram and gramdal (local) traded Rs 20 each lower at Rs 2880-3830 and Rs 3630-3830 per quintal, respectively. Gramdal best quality also fell by a similar margin to Rs 3,810-3,910 per quintal.
