Traders said the fall in chana prices was attributed to higher stocks in the market following increased arrivals from growing belts.
In the national capital, gram and gramdal (local) traded Rs 20 each lower at Rs 2880-3830 and Rs 3630-3830 per quintal, respectively. Gramdal best quality also fell by a similar margin to Rs 3,810-3,910 per quintal.

Masoor small 4,300-4,550, bold 4,500-4,600, Dal Masoor local 5,200-5,300, best quality 5,300-5,400, Malka local 5,100-5,200, best 5,300-5,400, Moth 4,700-5,100, Arhar 4,200-4,300, Dal Arhar Dara 5,750-5,950.
Gram 2,880-3,830, Gram Dal (local) 3,630-3,830, best quality 3,810-3,910, Besan (35 kg) Shakti bhog 1,400, Rajdhani 1,400, Rajmah Chitra 7,300-10,800, Kabli Gram small 3,850-5,850, dabra 2,700-2,800, imported 4,700-5,100, Lobia 4,200-5,800, Peas white 2,950-3,000 and green 3,000-3,100.
