Grenade, ammunition seized in Kupwara

A rocket-propelled grenade (RPG) and some ammunition were recovered by security forces during an operation in Kupwara district of north Kashmir today.
Assisted by Army troops, police launched a search operation in Alotop forest area of Kralpora, 120 kms from here, and recovered one RPG, five GPS tail units and four AK assault rifle magazines with 30 rounds of ammunition, a police spokesman said.
However, no one was arrested in connection with the recovery during the operation, the spokesman added.
