Groundnut oil falls on stockists selling

Groundnut oil prices fell further at the Vashi oils and oilseeds wholesale market here today on stockists selling amidst poor demand on the back of good arrivals from producing regions.
While refined palmolein recovered modestly owing to renewed retail buying support.
In the non-edible segment, castorseeds bold and castoroil commercial maintained its uptrend due to steady demand from shippers and soap industries.
Linseedoil also moved up following higher offtake from paint and allied industries.
In the edible segment, groundnut oil slid by Rs 10 per 10 kg to Rs 750 from Thursday's closing level of Rs 760.
However, refined palmolein edged up by Rs 3 per 10 kg to Rs 638 from Rs 635.

Moving to non-edible segment, castoroseeds bold firmed up by Rs 25 per 100 kg to Rs 4,025 from previous close of Rs 4,000 and castor oil commercial went up by Rs 5 per 10 kg to Rs 835 from Rs 830.
Linseedoil climbed by Rs 5 per 10 kg to Rs 850 as against Rs 845 yesterday.
