Groundnut oil recovered on renewed demand

Groundnut oil prices recovered smartly at the Vashi oils and oilseeds wholesale market here today on renewed demand from stockist and retailers.
Meanwhile, refined palmolein slipped on subdued offtake from retailers.
In the non-edible, castorseeds bold and castoroil commercial rebounded following good demand from shippers and soap industries.
Linseed oil maintained a stable trend in the absence of any worthwhile buying activity.
In the edible section, groundnutoil climbed by Rs 10 per 10kg to Rs 830 from Monday's closing level of Rs 820, however, refined palmolein moved down by Rs 2 per 10kg to Rs 498 from Rs 500.
Moving to non-edible segment, castorseeds bold shot-up by Rs 65 per 100kg to Rs 4,165 from Rs 4,100 and castoroil commercial spurted by Rs 13 per 10kg to Rs 863 as against Rs 850 yesterday.

Linseed oil closed unchanged at Rs 760 per 10kg.
