Groundnut oil slips on subdued demand, good arrivals

Groundnut oil prices slipped at the Vashi oils and oilseeds wholesale market here on subdued demand from stockist and retailers on the back of ample arrivals from producing belts.
Refined palmolein softened further owing to lower offtake from retailers.
Meanwhile, linseeds oil ruled steady following absence of any worthwhile buying activity.
In the non-edible section, castorseeds bold and castor oil commercial rebounded on renewed demand from shippers and soap manufacturers.
In the edible segment, groundnutoil dropped by Rs 10 per 10kg to Rs 1,030 from Friday's closing level of Rs 1,040 and refined palmolein edged-down by a Re per 10kg to Rs 512 from Rs 513.

In the non-edible segment, Castorseeds bold climbed by Rs 15 per 100kg to Rs 4,340 from Rs 4,325 and castoroil commercial moved up by Rs 3 per 10kg to Rs 898 as against Rs 895 yesterday.
Linseedoil closed unchanged at Rs 775 per 10kg.
