Groundnutoil decline on lower demand, good arrivals

Groundnutoil prices declined in an otherwise mute Vashi oils and oilseeds wholesale market here today on lower stockists and retail demand on the back of good arrivals from producing belts.
While, refined palmolein recovered owing to renewed retail buying.
In the non-edible segment, castorseeds bold, castoroil commercial and linseed oil held steady in the absence of any worthwhile buying activity.
In the edible segment, groundnutoil slid Rs 5 per 10 kg to Rs 775 from Wednesday's closing level of Rs 780.
However, refined palmolein gained by Rs 3 per 10 kg to Rs 505 from Rs 502 previously.
Moving to non-edible section, castorseeds bold, castoroil commercial and linseedoil all closed unchanged at Rs 4,085 per 100 kg, Rs 847 per 10 kg and Rs 765 per 10 kg respectively.
